My passion encompasses all animals but the horses are special.  Riding and having horses as a young girl taught me horsemanship, responsibility and compassion.

Coming back into the “horse world” as an adult, I felt compelled to bring something more to my experience than simply to ride and take lessons.  Equine massage and body work was not something that was really done back when I was a kid.  I stumbled into it and truly find it to be a very fulfilling way to not only develop the bond with my own horse, but others as well; and also to contribute something to my trainer/barn when there is an issue.  I do it to help the horses and with each horse I learn more about how important what I do is to them and the impact is has on them emotionally and physically.

I hold 2 certifications; one is with Equissage in equine sports massage. (the world’s oldest and foremost animal massage program).  The other is the Masterson Method® Integrated Equine Performance Bodywork.  Masterson Method® is a unique modality whereby recognizing the horse's response to my touch, I am able to find and release accomulated tension in the key junctions of the horse's body that most affect performance.  In contrast to most traditional modalities, it enables the horse to actively participate in the process of releasing.  It is something done with the horse, rather than to the horse.

As a rider, competitor, horse owner and person who has genuine compassion for your horse’s well being; I take pride in freeing your horse up to make all his parts “work”.  When your horse works, you can work together to be a successful team in the show ring or to help him along through his training program.  Whatever your goals, I take pride in helping to enhance the performance of your equine athlete.
